SabreFix XT High Grab Adhesive is a premium hybrid polymer with an ultra-fast initial grab. Designed for demanding applications, SabreFix XT streamlines assembly and installation by eliminating the need for nails, screws, or clamps. SabreFix XT is approved, and commonly used in the installation of rigid polyester acoustic panels, such as Autex Quietspace®, Cube®, and Groove® for wall coverings and ceilings. Due to its solvent free characteristics, the SabreFix XT satisfies the low VOC content requirements as specified by Green Star Design, New Zealand Green Building Council and Green Building Council of Australia.

Applications
- Bonding of rigid polyester acoustic panels, for wall coverings and ceilings
- Installation of most construction materials including timber, MDF, glass, particleboard, insulation, and tiles
- Elastic bonding of panels, mirrors, splashbacks, natural and hard stone, marble, granite, concrete and other porous materials
How to use
- Surface preparation
Substrates to be clean of oil, dirt, contaminants and old sealant.
- Priming
For a reliable bond we recommend wiping non porous surfaces down with Sabre Surface Activator.
- Application Temperature
Avoid application below +5 °C and above +35 °C
- Method
Cut off the end of the sausage and insert into a manual or pneumatic gun. Place the sausage nozzle on top of the sausage, and screw on the cap. Cut back the nozzle to the required size. Apply adhesive to the substrate. Remove masking before skinning.

Delivery and Delivery Charges
Hardware & Handles NZ Ltd uses a $9.75 freight charge for all guest checkout orders within New Zealand.
For oversized items, please email [email protected] for order and shipping costs.
For trade customers freight will be calculated and added after checkout.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination, but the vast majority of all our orders have reached our New Zealand customers within 1-3 business days of order.
Orders made by customers for delivery addresses outside New Zealand will not immediately be charged; we will instead collect the details of your order and get in touch with you to confirm delivery charges for your order to your country.
Returns
Because we pride ourselves on the speed of our delivery and do our utmost to despatch your order as soon as we possibly can, it is not possible to cancel or alter your order once it has been confirmed. However, once you have received your goods, we are happy to exchange them for you if you have changed your mind. For the purposes of such exchanges:
The goods being exchanged must be returned to Hardware & Handles NZ Ltd in the original, unopened condition.
Goods you get as a replacement must be of the same or lower value than the original purchase.
You must meet all postage costs for both the return of your original purchase as well as the despatch of the replacement goods.
Customers have the right to return any goods deemed faulty or damaged in transit for a replacement. The following conditions apply terms returned in these circumstances:
- Where goods are being returned due to a fault or damage, they must be in original condition.
- Where return is due to a fault, the customer must contact Hardware & Handles NZ Ltd within 7 days of receiving the product.
- Damaged items must not be signed for at the time of delivery and must be rejected - a new replacement will be sent as soon as possible.
Hardware & Handles NZ Ltd will cover the freight costs involved for the return and replacement of any faulty or defective goods.
